About the NIELIT–Intel India Agentic AI Skilling Initiative

• The initiative was launched alongside a National Leadership Dialogue on “Preparing the Future Workforce for the Agentic AI Era” to strengthen AI skills and workforce readiness.
• Launched By: National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), MeitY, in collaboration with Intel India.

• Objective
  • To expand access to industry-aligned, practical and future-ready Agentic AI learning across India.
  • To strengthen collaboration among Government, academia, industry and skilling institutions and build a skilled AI talent pool.
• Programmes Under the Initiative
  • Agentic AI for Everyone: This programme introduces learners to workflow automation, AI agents and multi-agent systems, using no-code platforms for productivity, business transformation and intelligent decision-making.
  • Engineering Agentic AI Systems: This programme focuses on designing, building and deploying AI-powered agentic systems, covering agent architecture, tool integration, orchestration, memory and deployment through no-code/low-code and code-based frameworks.

About NIELIT

• The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an Autonomous Scientific Society under MeitY, formerly known as the DOEACC Society
• It is engaged in human-resource development, skill building and certification in Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT).
• Organisational Structure
  • NIELIT operates through regional zones, constituent centres, accredited institutes and facilitation centres across India.
  • It is guided by a Supreme Governing Council and an Academic Advisory Committee.
• Educational and Skill Programmes
  • Formal Sector: Offers programmes including Ph.D., M.Tech, B.Tech/B.Sc. and diploma courses.
