India has joined the HealthAI Global Regulatory Network (GRN) as a Pioneer Country, reinforcing its role in responsible AI use in healthcare.

About HealthAI Global Regulatory Network (GRN)

• GRN is a new international platform bringing together health regulators to strengthen oversight of AI in healthcare
• Aim: To build trust, improve safety and accelerate responsible innovation through shared learning, joint standards and early warnings of emerging risks.
• Membership: Ten ‘Pioneer Countries’ including India were invited initially.
  • Members gain access to a Global Repository of AI Health Solutions.
  • Offers technical support and knowledge-sharing among regulators.
